| Présentation: | Updated August 2009-08-08 Hi everyone. I’m a single 50 year old environmental scientist, so naturally I love the outdoors and nature. I joined this site back in September 2004 and have learnt so much about photography and the world since then its truly amazing. I’ve made some good friends too and visited people and places that I would never have imagined doing 5 years ago. Since joining TN my passion for photography has returned and I just love getting out into the wild and shooting subjects as often as I can. I read every critique and comment you write and accept any constructive criticism. I try to return critiques, but only if I think you shots are worthy (lol). Sometimes I can be harsh, but only if you deserve it. Some people don’t like the points system, but I do. I’ve posted on other sites and had zero constructive feedback and learnt nothing. So if your not getting points don’t worry, see how many people view your work, that’s a better test to understand if your going OK, especially if you are new here. The other thing is, don’t get consumed by TN, it can be addictive. I try to get on every couple of days only, that way its always fun and you don’t feel obligated to do the return points thing. The main thing here is to learn, share and have fun, because that is the main aim of photography; enjoy. Thanks for visiting my profile.
