| Présentation: | Born in Long Beach, raised in Rancho Palos Verdes and live in San Pedro. I am a local southern california boy. I first became interested in photography accedently, about 4 years ago. I had a lot of classical music LPs that I no longer used because I had the same recordings on cd. I was going to sell them on ebay and the ebay site informed me that I should have a picture of the item I wanted to sell. So I bought my first digital point and shoot camera. I soon found out that you could take pictures of a lot more then just the item you were trying to sell on ebay. Well that got me hooked on amateur photography. One thing led to another and I now have a SLR camera. I am satisfied with the quality of the pictures I get on the SLR but the one big problem is that the camera is so big. There are times when you need a small point and shoot, so I have both of those and still use them. Because I live in an urban area I have limited access to photographic opportunities envolving nature. There are however, other opportunities such as architecure, museums and daily life. I must admit that I still like landscape photography the best. But you do the best with what you are given. Well have fun and enjoy your hobby. Gary Denni San Pedro, Ca. | |
