Perfect, absolutely perfect depth of field! Impressive catch of an otherwise boring subject (butterfly & flower). Its all in the eye, man! You couldve added a tad more contrast though, Greg!

Very gorgeous creature, hang on a pretty flower. Combination of the two won't be wrong, creating a superb picture. Greatly composed.

Great image of this Swallowtail sticking to the beautiful flower that, I believe, goes by the name of "Turk's turban" or something similar. Both combine into a synergic composition.

Have been out of range for internet connection over the last few days. Been in a remote area of New Zealand called The Catlins, so now it is time for me to catch up on what has been happening.
Excellent shot. Well done on everything here. Thanks. -)

Grzegorz, they're not around here this time of the year. I hope they'll be here soon...
Another great capture with very nice saturation and contrast. I like composition too. Maybe, I'd try to add some lighting, but it's just an opinion.
Great note too.

pleasant image that does look a bit different to other views we usually take from this species. The overall darkness and richness of colours on the exotic lily tells of tropical splendour.
Background deserves some noise removal.
As you said: this year seems to be a very good year for swallowtails here in Europe even from the beginning in Spring. Maybe the long and stable frosty winter was a blessing for them, too. We do see them quite often here in different locations, from the hot lowlands up to the very high elevations. But I cannot get enough of seeing them.
Thank you! Best regards,
