Well done, Serge. I think the hardest part was getting the DoF you needed here. But I guess a 60mm with a flash fill got you to f/11, and that's what you needed! Excellent work!

Hi Serge
A great capture of these lovely little flowers. The bright red & yellow subjects gave excellent impact against the darkish background.
I really like your composition and I can see it was not just a point and shoot exercise, but that you planned and executed with the final result in mind. The colours are stunning and the tack sharp details brought about by the extended DOF at f/11 aperture are just amazing. The BG is well removed and OOF and that isolated and enhanced the flowers very well, while the exposure was also very well managed.

PS. Although I see the topic has cropped up in earlier critiques and responses, but it would be real nice to see a little more in your notes. Maybe something about technique, circumstances/conditions, and/or subject information. This will provide a more complete participation and enhance your lovely portfolio to a great degree.

Couleurs magnifiques pour cette photo d'Abutilon Megapotamicum ! Les fleurs se détachent parfaitement du fond. Le cadrage est très bien vu (belle diagonale). Les 3 stades de maturité de cette fleur en font une photo très intéressante.
