First of all, I would like to thanks to all for the nice words and comments to my previous pictures.
Secondly, I am really sorry that my work is occupying a lot of time and I do not have spear moments for TN, but also to go out to take pictures. It is a busy period, with reports and dead-lines that I have to respect. Actually, I went several times in the natural reserve near Gent o photograph water birds, but with the drought from the summer the water is almost gone. And I became also more pretentious with my pictures.
But to give a sign that I am still present here, I choose an old picture, prepared for a long time to post here. It is from my HP period, when I had not too much experience in photography. This doesn’t mean that I have too much now, but anyway…
The species is Adonis vernalis, known as pheasant's eye, spring pheasant's eye, yellow pheasant's eye and false hellebore.

It is a perennial flowering plant found in dry meadows and steppes in Eurasia. Isolated populations are found from Spain in the west across central and southern Europe, reaching southern Sweden in the north, with its main area of distribution being the Pannonian Basin and the West Siberian Plain. In contrast to most other European Adonis species, the flowers appear in springtime, and are up to 80 mm in diameter, with up to 20 bright yellow petals.
The plant is poisonous, containing cardiostimulant compounds, such as adonidin and aconitic acid. In addition, it is often used as a ornamental plant.

In Romania, this species is protected. The picture was taken near Iasi, between Breazu and Marzesti , in a place were also Pulsatilla vernalis and Crocus are growing.
The picture is not very qualitative, but it is an attempt of presenting more about flora from my country;

Hello Oana,
A nice one from your archives showing the flower of a species that in Sweden only grows on the island of Öland. The POV shows the flower at its best with nice sharpness and colours. I have not succeeded in taking a good shot of it yet.

L'image manque d'un petit peu de netteté et d'éclat mais le sujet est relativement bien valorisé par l'appréciation de la finesse des détails.

Seara buna Oana,
frumoasa floare si ctoata compozitia in sine. Foarte interesanta nota ta introductiva. Daca am avea atita timp cit ne-am dori noi ... nu ar fi rau. Si eu pot spune ca iti impartasesc pe deplin ideea de a expune poze mai bune si mai frumoase. Ma uitam si eu de unde am plecat si pe unde sunt. Si cred ca se vede ceva.
O seara linistita si frumoasa,
