This time an other view on the poppies.
As you can see more we are not the only ones who like those flowers.

It is not so easy to take real good shots of poppies.
This one was more in the shade and then the colours are better. Also the structure of the leafs is more clear. The background with the grey colours give the photo something special.

ANT poppy is right! Looks like my roses at times. Good capture Hendrik, well spotted.

Hi Hendrik, I love this back view of poppies with added ant & aphid interest. The colours and detail are great as are the DOF and composition. Interesting and artistic all in one...very well done and TFS :)

Great photo Ninix, I like the flower with the aphid and ant colony on the stalk very much. The papery texture on the flower is amazing. Great shot!
