[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Taken at a Cheetah "conservation" park in Namibia. A family there rescues "pest" cheetahs that would normally be shot (for eating farmers livestock). The guy that runs the place reminded me of a gun-hoe, Afrikaner version of steve irwin, crocidle hunter. This was taken from the back of his ute/pickup truck just before feeding time. You stand in the back of the vehicle amongst various meats (mostly cut up horse and zebra's). The guy then gets out of the vehicle with a stick (to protect him from the packs of cheetahs) and grabs chunks of meat beofre throwing them to the animals. Not sure about the "conservation" part of the cheetah parks name. You would understand me if you go there..... feel free to workshop!

Good shot! You've captured this cheetah nicely, I particularly like the light in his eyes and the warmth of the lighting. If I were to suggest anything, firstly I think I might sharpen it a bit more, and secondly I think I'd probably crop it slightly more aggressively - a bit off the top and left perhaps? Anyway a very nice capture :-D

Welcome to TrekNature!

Superbe chat !
J'aime ce regard de prédateur.
très belle lumiere !
Bienvenue sur TN .

Great posture for the cheetah, Michael. I like the light on it, and the red eyes. I agree with Adrian that it might have more visual impact if the cheetah was closer-up, so I tried a workshop. Hope you don't mind. By the way, great work, and a warm welcome to TN. : )

An excellent capture.
A great pose, nice lighting and colours.
A little USM would bring out the details more.
Great shot,well done.
Welcome to TN.

Hello Michael

Welcome to TN. Wonderful way to start. Great looking animal. Excellent expression in those eyes. Focus is a bit soft therefore detail is not as sharp as it could be, but it is still a great shot. Thanks

A great shot of a cheetah 'ready for business', nice soft light, good POV, although you should try to crop it a little bit more. Well done!
