I like this face to face capture of the Cypriot Laudakia lizard because of the patterned lip line, making it look like a little crocodile. Good exposure, sharpness and composition and a nice dedication to your uncle.

Your uncle is a very popular person, not only on the site but with his family and fellow colleges as well. I would not mind having a few lessons by the professor myself. He deserves all the dedications and respect given to him.
I agree with your statement that it is difficult to capture a reptile facing you directly. You were very fortunate to capture this one looking so much at ease and having great eye contact with you. It almost looks as if it has a smile or grin on its face. The clarity of the paws and its nails is really good and displays well. I like the leaves in the background as it gives a slight idea on how big this lizard is. Thanks for sharing this lovely dedication.
