Lovely capture of this pollen-covered Bee Beetle on the white flowers. Great sharpness and beautiful colours. THis is a charming little beetle that has not shown up here yet.

Marie! The insect somehow matches the flora...in a very nice way as well...reminds me of a wedding...in a round about way it is a meeting of two carbon based "things"...but to have them be so nice pictorially is well seen.

I have seen this type of Beetle for the first time and I feel enriched by seeing it and by reading about it, Marie.
The image is well captured and those light-coloured flowers provide an apt BG for the subject.

Es evidente que no has utilizado el flash, con lo que no han aparecido brillos y los colores son más naturales. Lo que echo de menos es un poco mas de contraste, de todas formas es una gran foto.

Bonsoir Marie-Christine,
Superbe trichie, avec des couleurs splendides, qui se régale de pollen. Cet insecte doit être un grand pollinisateur avec ses poils qui captent tous les pollens. Les fleurs en paient le prix car elle est assez vorace. Je vois que contrairement à la Trichius fasciatus, ses pattes aussi ont un duvet.

Your macros are getting better and better Marie.
I think your focus is a little clearer on the back than on the head ... not usually what one aims for,in this case though,I think that its better. After all,the back is the prettiest part of the beetle.
Very nicely exposed and comoposed.

These Bee Beetles are difficult to capture with the head visible as they usually have the head deep into a flower.
So you have taken an excellent macro from a fine POV with nice sharpness. Well composed among the white flowers.
