Here some other captures out from this serie
Spotted week I

Great spotted woodpecker
About blackbird-sized and striking black-and-white. It has a very distinctive bouncing flight and spends most of its time clinging to tree trunks and branches, often trying to hide on the side away from the observer. Its presence is often announced by its loud call or by its distinctive spring 'drumming' display. The male has a distinctive red patch on the back of the head and young birds have a red crown.

Hallo Paul,
Prachtige foto van deze specht. De kleuren zijn enerverend. De flits heeft zijn werk goed gedaan. De scherpte is perfect. Erg goede compositie.

Ha Paul,

Alweer zo'n mooi verlichte specht. Er zitten er blijkbaar genoeg bij jou in de buurt.Leuk dat je de vogel op deze hoogte hebt kunnen fotograferen.Meestal zitten ze toch wat hoger in de boom.

Hi Paul

Great colours and details on this woodpecker. You captured it with in a very nice pose, with a great DoF. The green blurred BG looks really friendly in the colours of the bird. Well done!

TFS, Thijs
