Nice capture here, especially since you have the entire body in focus. This seems like a close shot, so I wouldn't recommend any closer! I do, wonder, though about the tree to the left. Although it is a part of the bear's natural environment, it is slightly distracting, not because it's there, but because it is the only thing out of focus.

Still, there's nice detail here, excellent contrast of colors, and the bear seems totally unaware of you. (A good thing!)

Allo Michel,
Je n'ai jamais eu cette chance de voir un ours comme ça. Pourtant, là où je vais dans le Parc du Mont-Tremblant, il y en a beaucoup mais bon... C'est une très belle prise de cet animal impressionnant avec de beaux détails et exposition. Bravo!

Hello Michel

A wonderful capture of this black bear.Very good detail and focus.The POV is very good.I have seen these bears climb 10m up a tree in a couple seconds ,so even though they look slow they really are fast.TFS
