[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This species was considered for a long time, 2 synonymous of Tupinambis teguixin, at the moment by count of scales together with morphological differences they are denominated separately. Tupinambis teguixin is related to Tupinambis longilineus and would be distributed geographically in northern South America and Amazonia. While Salvator duseni, Salvator rufescens and Salvator merianae would be distributed primarily to southern Amazonia.

Due to this newly obtained information I promise to my friends of TN that I will rename the photographs that I have previously posted in my gallery.

Hello Hernan,
What a fine looking lizard you have presented to us. Beautiful colors and attractively marked. The focus is sharp revealing plenty of detail. Kind of neat that you were able to capture it just as it stuck out its tongue.
I photographed one similar to it in Brazil a few years ago, but never knew what type it was. Here is a link if you could possibly identify it for me.

Ciao Hernan, great portrait of fantastic creature, fine details, wonderful colors and splendid sharpnes, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Bela foto, meus parabéns; aqui no Brasil temos lagartos deste tipo e chamamos de teiú.
