Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris is a strictly South American rodent species. Its range extends throughout most of Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Columbia, south into the Argentinian pampas, and west to the Andes.

Hi Francisco. The CAPIVARA looks like it always about to fall asleep i think its the eye.
You have taken a good view of the pair in the water. with fine detail and natural colours. I see you have a bonus of the small bird. well taken TFS.

Interesante y bella foto, lograda en un ambiente 100% natural. Finos tonos de colores y alta nitidez. El detalle del pajarillo posado sobre el lomo es puntos adicionales.
