Telopea speciosissima:
The New South Wales waratah has very showy flowers, although not many on each plant. It is the floral emblem of New South Wales. These days they are also cultivated which helps stop people from taking them from bush settings, a practice that used to decimate bushes close to towns. Growers have to have licences to prove that they are cultivated and not wild.

This photo (of a definitely wild waratah) was taken in Nattai national park only a few hundred metres from where I live.
