This is a small Eastern Water Dragon. It was shedding skin after a growth spurt. As the belly was a salmon colour I guess it is a male but I may be wrong in this. The lizard's body was about one brick in length but the tail then added about another 2 bricks length.
I liked the way the shedding skin blended in with the roughness and colouring of the bricks. The lizard was moving quickly so the focus is not very clear. But I thought it was good enough on the left side to include.

Hi Sue,

Excellent work on this close-up of a Eastern Water Dragon shedding its skin, The detail and colours are wonderful.

I also like the narrow d.o.f used, resulting in the left hind leg being in focus but the rest of the body OOF, for me this adds to the overall image, yes stopping down f8 or f11 would have brought the subject more into focus, but i like this effect, really nice work :)
