|I stayed in bed this morning as it was very cold. When I finally got up at 9.00am I was met with a good frost. Brrrr. This lone Dandelion was frozen in my lawn. I loved the ice crystals on it's tiny petals.|
PP: Selected dandelion, inverted and desaturated background. Resized

beautiful the composition and the game of lights and shadows. A great winter composition with great contrast and soft tonalities on the frozeen dandelion.
very good color contrast between flower and the back ground.

Very nice.. great choice for selective colouring.. it does look cold... well done!
An absolute delight to look at this wonderful macro. The details captured are wonderful. Just love the way you composed this image with the yellow standing out from the surroundings, as if it is pushed forward to be closer to the eye. I wish I could also have stayed in bed today as it is terribly cold. It does not snow in our hometown but we hear from places close to us where the snow has been snowing since yesterday. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

very special shot of a snow ridden flower and its cold surroundings. Such an artistic presentation with the yellow glow in good contrast.
Very pretty low angle view in good clarity.
