This fungi is new to me.I liked POV,colors, blurred BG and 3D effect very much.I liked them:)
Thanks for posting.
Beautiful as always. I liked Your last photo (about this specie) a bit more, but I don't really know, why - probably it's nothing but personal taste. Thanx a lot for sharing this one, too.
Friendly regards, László

Very unique species you have here. I have not seen this species in Malaysia. Very nice shot considering the low light condition.
Yes it came out well, a very interesting find. Good sharpness considering the low shutter speed, the IS in your FZ8 works real good.
Good composition, DOF and sharpness.

A stunning capture, partly because it is technically excellent and partly because the subject itself is so striking with the fantastic blue. Not only that, but to have found a pair that have 'siamesed' during growth is unusual in itself.
I also like the composition of these E. hochstetteri on the mossy substrate and the way they lean across the image with the BG of the nothogagus trunks.
A real beauty that's going into my favorites and I thank you for that!

You are my neighbour today.
These fungi have amazing colours! They are completely beyond my knowledge but I can appreciate them for their beauty and the beauty of the mossy environment in which they live!
Very good diagonal composition, excellent details not only of the fungi but also of their environment, and, how well they show up against the blurred b/g.

Been quite while since i visited you gallery. I used always think about the kind of effort you put to find these rare and ebautiful captures.Your compositions are unique as they are often not what one would come across in all TN pages.
This is a brilliant capture of the twin blue fungi. The colours and lighting perfectly done with great focus and clarity. The green at the base is quite interesting and the Dof quite good. Infact it must be quieta challenge to adjust the lighting , use of flash and gain the right exposure in this rain forest shots.
Very well done.
TFS & Cheers

Really interesting fungi and complementing surroundings make this a great fungi shot. I especially like the low angle that allows the viewer to look past the undergrowth and further out to other parts of the forest. Makes me want to go there and explore.

Very very interesting mushroom. POV is very good and shows these blue mushrooms from a nice angle. I especially liked the colors. Thanks.
These Siamese twins are stuck like glue to paper. You’re fungi photographs is really remarkable, and these very looooooooooooong blue one's is no exception. To me a mushroom was just a mushroom until I joint Trek Nature, I still do not know much about fungi but I cannot let this beauty pass without adding my little comment for what it is worth. A well composed image with good and clear details. The colour of the plants in your background emphasise the details and colour of the fungi even more. A splendid image indeed. Trek Nature is without a doubt a very interesting and most educational site. Not a day will pass that I don't see or learn something new, and I will also stay here as long as I possibly can, even if they do sell my images. Friends and everthing I learn make up for that. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
ps. If you find a purple fungi in the woods, you must please let me know.
