[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The Australian Pelican is known as Pelecanus conspicillatus. It has a wing span of between 2.5 to 3.4 metres and so, is a large bird. They are characterised by a long beak and a large throat pouch used for catching prey and draining water from the scooped up contents before swallowing.

Hello Robert,
Your Australian Pelican has been captured quite nicely in this wonderful inflight image. Lovely black and white plumage and excellent eye contact. Focus is sharp, giving us a great look at its unique body features. I believe I would have removed the boat for aesthetic reasons only. Great work!!
