Hi Ivan,
Nice to have an archive like that. It's a great shot, and I am glad you're showing it to us. That S2 camera produced a wonderful DOF and excellent details in the head. The colors look very nice although there is a slight hint of color noise.

Although you mention that the light was poor, you managed to capture this lovely Red-browed Finch in a great side view pose. Clear details of the paws, eyes and beak are beautifully displayed. Good focus and good sharpness. Image presented in a delightful manner. These birds are blessed with an arrangement of lovely colours in their plumage and your photography shows this well. Sorry to be very often a little bit late.. This finch might be common in Australia, for me it looks quite exotic and has wonderful and special colors. I also like the place where it is posed and the cute glance in its eyes. Lovely shot.
