[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Hello friends, and old photo from my archives
the White-tailed Deer taken in September 2004
with my very first digital camera.

1/34s f/2.8 ISO200 24.9mm.

From Wikipedia definition of "Wildness".

«Wildness, in its literal sense, is the quality of being wild
or untamed. Beyond this, it has been defined as a quality
produced in nature,[1] as that which emerges from a forest,
[2] and as a level of achievement in nature.»

And some notes on the White-tailed Deer.

«Habitat and Habits
Abundant food makes almost any forested or bushy area suitable
for white-tailed deer during the summer, but as snow deepens the
deer concentrate in "deer yards," or areas that provide food and
shelter from storms and deep snow. Sometimes the move from
summer to winter range requires travelling many kilometres. .»

Ciao Abmdsudi, great capture of superb creature, beautiful enviromen, splendid light and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Asbed,
Nice to see this White-tailed Deer in its natural habitat. Well captured. Good details and color. Like the way you have given in front and back of the deer. It's showing it was walking and looking back. Good work.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Asbed,a very good capture of this deer despite the distance,i like the composition and the great view of the natural habitat too, well done! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hi Asbed,
I again have to disagree with the colleagues, but this time I face the other direction... I know photographing an animal like this is always a moment you never forget. So I'm talking only about the picture itself when I'm saying it isn't good. Composition's average, with the deer too much in the centre, is too small in the frame and is unsharp. Foreground's very busy and too much. Although the spruces are nice, color-wise the whole photo's bathing in cyan/blue overcast, and it's very visible especially on the trees. I'm more than sure if you were there with your current experience, this photo would be very-very different from what we see now.
Best regards, László
