[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This photo I offer for your viewing is that of a female white tail deer.I have given the photo the title I did because the time of day it was taken isn't the best for photoing wildlife as the mid day sun is just a little to harsh for the kind of detail I like to see.On the plus side with the heat simmering up from the ground,it has dappled the look of the background, bushes and shrubs for an effect that I do not mind.In the workshop this deer started to run away from me and is proof positive as to the species she is a member of.Here in High River and environs both mule deer and white tails are often seen but never together at the same time.I hope you enjoy these two photos and of course get out and see similar things as well.

beautiful capture. nice background.

hello Bob

both of your 2 photos are beautiful of this wonderful wild animal,
maybe not the best time of day to shoot the photo
but you managed superbly your camera to obtain
excellent and natural colour tones and details of the deer,

Hi Bob,
I agree not the best time of the day. But you controlled the harsh light perfectly. I like the alerted look and the color and sharpnes on the deer. If I compare her head and neck with her body, it looks like her body is very long. Or is it just because she's partially covered by the willow.
Did you sharpen this photo or treat some areas with some blurr? The patterns of the OOF areas look a bit strange and not like a normal bokeh you expect from this lens.
TFS,
Niek
