Juvenile tiger heron, partially hidden between mangrove branches.
This is a wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae, found from Mexico to northwestern Colombia, living in river and lake banks, mangrove swamp and temporary lagoons.
It wait often motionless for suitable prey such as fish, frogs or crabs to come within reach of its long bill.

Hello Pedro,
Even though it is partially hidden we can still get a good look at its facial features and well camouflaged plumage. A beautiful bird indeed which has been captured nicely by your lens.
