A beautiful Oystercatcher from a trip to Mexcio. Beautiful colors and fine details of the face, eye, beak, and feathers. The eye is amazing with a 3D look. A lovely setting as he stands looking at the water. The composition is excellent.

Beautiful picture of the bird in its natural habitat, Everton.
I like the POV from which the entire bird is seen in sharp focus and displays all the natural colors on its body.
The beach and the water provide an authentic BG for the subject.

I saw similar bird last year at Baltic see coast. Unfortunatelly it was at a distance about of 100 metres from me. It's too much for 420mm of my lens.

very beautiful picture of American Oystercatcher taken from a very good dorsal POV with superb sharpness, colours and lighting, i like the lovely pose of the bird on the sand against the water BG, very well composed.
