Hi Jay
air, water, fire and earth ,primordial elements of Existence since Greeks time!...your photo is outstanding in it´s perfect composition and creativity a true hymn to this fundamental element...
if I may a sugestion why don´t you start a "portfolio" about the four Elements...? I am sure that your Art and creativity would give us great pictures!
TFS and best regards

Hi Jay
So tell me, is this the first in a series to follow, because I can see the fire (very clear and predominantly as well), but I see no ‘Earth’, ‘Air’, or ‘Water’ yet. Come to think about it, you will have a tough time trying to capture ‘Air’, but I am sure you ingenious mind will be able to come up with some original representation as you did with this shot of ‘Fire’. Very imaginative and unique. I just hope you did not scorch your camera or burnt your fingers and remember what the old people said what happens when you play with fire….
A wonderful large posting utilising almost the maximum allowed pixels size on all sides. The composition is great showing just a hint of the ambers at the bottom and further just those well captured flames. The colours and the details are splendid and so is the exposure.
Very well done and TFS.

Interesting shot!
Bright colors....
Well-balanced presentation....and the flames
seem to have "composed" themselves!!
I was mesmerized by the intertwining of the columns of fire, and the blending thereof.
Great accompanying notes; informative, useful and clarifying.
Kudos for this one!!
Jay yet another excellant shot of fire! What more can I say?
Cheers:)
Roy

Hello Jay,
fascinating conceptual work of philosophical depth and power. Very much looking forward to see the continuation of that series.
Thank you! Best regards,
Peter
Hello Jay,
I didn't know that so many trees were destroyed, this is an impressive number. I think that you had a good idea for his picture and that you presented it very well. Thanks for this nice one and very interesting notes. “Water is wet”, this made me smile… ;)

PS Congrats on the 1/2 mile, catching up quickly:)
Hello Jay
Very well done. We can actually see the temperature gradient as the yellow brightens to white hot flame on the leading edge. The dancing flame and embers below make for an interesting and dramatic image.

Hi Jay,
Fire is a phenomenon that hides mystery and fascination. This energy emission asociated with matter reorganization has been excellently trapped by you! I like shapes and colors a lot!

Hi Jay,
Wow. This is a perfect composition. What a colors and so sharp. It's a creativ highlight. Splendid. Your POV, DOF and BG are almost perfect. On the BG you can see a bit of the fire. What a loss, 100,000,000 trees. Regards and TFS Bob
