[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Hello friends, the exacte title of this photo was to be
«Bobcat Celtick has crossed the rainbow bridge»
but TN is not allowing as long titles.
As you can see Bobcat Celtick my third pointing dog
(Griffon Korthals) recently has crossed the rainbow bridge,
soon it will be 10 years that I am on TN and in the last
8 years with today 3 times I am announcing such sad news.
Today what hurts me most is that Bobcat Celtick was just in
the prime of his life, he was only 3 years and 10 months old.
On this photo it is the American Woodcock on its nest,
photo taken exactly one year ago on March 30, 2016,
has I have written several times before, to can find
an American Woodcock in the forest ground you need
the help of a pointing dog and its nose, this woodcock
on its nest was found by its nose and pointed by
Bobcat Celtick, if not I would never knew it was
a woodcock nesting on that place of he forest ground.
«Farewell Bobcat Celtick, Your memory and all that we have
shared together will remain forever in my heart and soul.»
Merci.

Hi Asbed, another dog is gone and this isn't a good news, obviously especially for you...nice way to celebrate this moment with a pic of this woodcck nesting, like a metaphore of the life cycle, the dog is gone but the woodcock is working for the future life...well done! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Asbed,
I feel sadness at the news of your hunting companions death. Bobcat Celtick had been a good friend for the three and a half short years you had him. He certainly was a big help to you in the success of your inflight shots.
This image is a fitting tribute to his loyal devotion, I'm sure you will remember him often in the years to come.
Ron
Bonjour Asbed,
Perdre un animal de compagnie est un événement triste et une période difficile pour son maître, toute mes sympathies. La capture de la Bécasse d'Amérique qui est cachée par les branches est excellente. L'image est claire et nette. Bonne journée.
Pierre
Hello Asbed,
Sorry for such sad incident. I watched Bobcat Celtick's so many pictures when you provided me website where you post also. Thanks for the NOTE; and now we know how he helped you to find this American Woodcock. Unforgettable memory!
Now about this picture:-
Bird is hiding in the bush and so many obstacle which restricted viewers to see it clearly. Well focused on its eye even in such camouflaged area we can see it well. But in my test, POV isn't such attractive.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards,
Srikumar
