Une vue d'une tourterelle triste(Zenaida macroura) qui fait parti de l'ordre des Columbiformes et de la famille des Columbidés. Elle se promène sur le gazon et recherche de la nourriture. La photo a été prise dans ma cours arrière.

I as well would like to know of the genesis of the name...but beyond that...a superb capture of what would appear to many to be a common daily sight. You must have your eyepiece glued to your eye!

Hi Pierre,
a very nice capture of the eye with the light falling on the head. The green grass gives a good background and most of all the feather is so sharp and well lined, to give a special graphical impact near the tails.
