[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This very small lotus is found in hot and dry deserts from the Arbian Peninsula through North Africa, to the Canary Islands. In Israel it is found only at the very south, in the mountains near Eilat, indeed a very dry and hot place. See the WS a landscape picture of the mountains

The flowers are very small, about 8 mm long. Note the bud and the fruit. The WS shows an entire prostrate plant.

Hello Ishi,
You have done a fine job of photographing this beautiful ground dwelling plant. The flowers remind me of the Sweet pea's we have in our flower beds. Nicely focused while showing fine detail and just the right amount of exposure. I really like the WS which shows it thriving in its natural habitat.
Ron
