Bufo bufo (Common Toad) from Trabzon-Uzungol. You can find detailed information from Dr. Bayram Gocmen's (boreocypriensis) note.

There were many toads (Bufo bufo) with this appearence under the stones. Their colour was dark, as you see in the ptoho, and the skin was tough. Some of them was dead (I think) and some was nearly-dead. It's normal for these toads to stay under the stones during the daylight, because they are nocturnal. But their condition was not seemed like resting. I have no idea is it a disease or something else.

P. S. In fact, I didn't want to put this photo on TN, because it was taken by a mobile phone so the quality is bad. But I decided to share this to discuss this interesting (at least for me) case.

Güzel bir konuya parmak bastın. Olasılıkla parazitlenmişler. Ancak örnek alıp getirseydin emin olurduk. Bu arada hayvanın boyutları oldukça farklı ve haliyle bu durum sanırım B.b. verrucosimus" altürü olmasıyla alakalı. Eline sağlık.
