nice one, its nice to see how dark the last joint is, greetings Ori
Hi Ahmet
Because it is the first and only image of this scorpion on the site this Deathstalker goes straight to my theme for "RARE or SIGNIFICANT contributions to TN". From the way this one had its tail lifted up it looks like it's ready and eager for action. I have heard that the thicker a scorpion's tail and the smaller its pinchers the deadlier it is. I'm not sure if this is true, but looking at this one it seems there might be some truth to the story.
You did well to capture this one with just the torch light. Some of the rocks seem a bit bright, but the scorpion is spot-on with excellent details of all its features. The composition has good placing of the subject and sufficient space for movement. Very interesting note as well and the workshop also looks great.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot
PS. I've done a quick workshop just to see if I could address the brightish stones. I hope you like it.

Merhaba Ahmet,
Congratulations on this unique post, a first for TN!
You captures this scorpion with good sharpness and from a great POV and the slight overexposure by flash was well corrected by Loot.
Your wife must be pleased that you and your collegue were able to record this species and capture it so well in a photo!
Thanks for showing us this impressive L. quinquestriatus (Striated on the 5th segment of the tail)
Best wishes my friend,
Elinize saglik,

Hi Ahmet!
Wow, it is really easy to recognize this species, and it is really a dangerous one! Only 0.25mg! It is not good to walk there without shoes ;)
Very nice macro and very unique presentation (not the fist according to scorpions).
By the way, this year I was looking for some Euscorpius species in Greece, but without any success. Maybe next near in some Middle East coutries? :)
TFS and have a great weekend!

Hello Ahmet,
I've only once encountered a tiny Scorpion and don't particularly wish to meet any larger specimens especially as they seem to move around in the dark! This is a splendid capture though using artificial light and looking very natural. Excellent sharpness and good colours in this fine composition.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Merhaba Ahmet,
A really great shot & detail of this poisonous scorpion. That stinger looks shiny with a sharp penetrating tip. Those tail segments appear very flexible as they do help the scorpion to strike in any direction. TFS.

Tür özelliklerini belirginleştiren harika bir kare ve harika dipnot...
İyi geceler, saygılar...
