[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Here is another rare flower of the Araceae (the Calla Lily family), another early bloomer, blooming before bringing out is leaves, Biarum angustatum (angustatum means tapered). Let me re-iterate that in our region autumn is the beginning of the blooming season, as the winter rains start. Our summers are dry, with very few flowers blooming.

I photographed this 18 cm high specimen against the early morning sun (due to its position) with fill-in flash to bring out details.

Hello Ishi,
A fabulous capture of this impressive Calla Lily in a wonderful colour. I like your Pov and the fine sharp details. A fascinating species of which I've only seen buds once in Turkey.
TFS and kind regards, Ulla
