Crocus ochroleucus_01

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This is one of our white crocus species (white is quite rare among crocuses!). Although called in Latin and in Hebrew "yellowish", most specimens are almost white. The picture shows clearly the characteristic white anthers and the split stigma, as well as the orange petal bases.
All our crocuses bloom in the fall. |

Hola my neighbour, and thanks for this rare sight captured with very fine detail of the white petals. The dark BG produces a good 3-D effect, so pleasant!

Bonjour Ishi,
Intéressante macro valorisant relativement bien le sujet dans une lumière difficile.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
