Malpolon moilensis - Moila Snake
length: up to 100cm
active time: day
food: lizards, snakes, birds and rodents
near-venomous snake, researchs think that his venom maybe risky for man.
this snake can broaden the flanks in the neck and be resemble to the Cobras (najas) show, but unlike the cobras he didn't pick up his front to do big show. just keep creep with the flat-front little bit up from the ground.
in israel found just in the Arava valley and southern Negev desert. think rarelly in israel. |

Hello Rei! Mysterious shot. Regards!
hi rei,
very nice capture. light, POV, composition very nice. I think it was shot under flash light. TFS
well done
Ahmet
Hello Rei -
This is a nice photo - this little snake almost looks innocent, doesn't he? I like how you keep his head, which is actually off-center, completely in focus while the rest of his body gradully falls out of focus. Colors are spooky!
Best to you, Penny
great pic, TFS Ori
