In California this plant is grown on hillsides. I had a hard time tearing it out in my last home. It has strong roots, called red apple in the USA. The bee is fantastic! I love the pose you got him in, working hard for his nectar!.

The colours in this image is outstanding, escpecially of the plant known to us as a "vygie". The texture is lovely and displays well, I just love the glossy appearance. The bee seem to be having a ball of a time, as it seems as it is having a "dive" into the nectar.
Thanks for sharing this "daring" photograph. It is much appreciated.
