[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I think this is really the last butterfly of the season 2017 from my region. Even the last Polyommatus icarus male show signs of old age, while the Vanesse have gone into hibernation because of the cold and the rain that has hit the countryside for days ... goodbye in the spring ..

Hello Luciano,
Appears this little butterfly is at the end of its days. I don't know if I have ever seen one quite so tattered and torn. makes you feel a bit sad for it. Nicely photographed in fine detail and beautiful color tones.
I actually saw a Cabbage White last week which looked to be in perfect shape. The weather was pretty cold and rainy out, so it wasn't moving to fast.
Ron

Indeed, this one (very well captured) looks beat up...

Hope you continue to share with us gems form your archives, until springs comes.

Have a lovely Sunday, Luciano,

Ishi

Bonjour Luciano,

Pierre
