Hello Anne,
you have capture this lovely dragonfly in a nice pose when it's trying to warm up.
Good sharpness with a decent DOF, almost the whole insect is in focus except the tail.

Bonjour Anne,
A fine sharp capture of a an old female Sympeterum striolatum looking at what looks like a small male midge (the fluffy antennae suggest a male). The POV is excellent and the composition on the stone with the midge is perfect against the neutral BG.

A magnificent capture of the moment. I can feel the tension building in the image...this is what photography can do when there is just a slight editorial story to it...very educational at best!

Hi Anne. It looks like its playing with the fly . You were able to get such a fine close up with sharp focusing and detil. You have natural colours. The large brown eyes stand out well .TFS.

Bonjour Anne,

A superb macro capture of this dark colored beauty. The eyes and textures in the wings of the dragonfly, are well detailed and beautifully shown in your capture.

I like the great contrast between the colors of the dragonfly and the rocky structure underneath. The sharpness is great and the POV is superb. The DOF is very well managed.

Dein Bild ist überraschend, denn es macht den Anschein, als ob sich die Libelle an die Fliege anschleichen wollte und sich dabei klein macht. Auch die Stellung der Flügel ist besonders, und die Wirkung des ganzen Bildes ist angenehm.

wow...this is an excellent capture of a dragonfly. seldom seen in this pose attaching its body to the rock. The sharpness is indeed very clear. The details is splendid. The line of depth could be noticed along the body to the ant.
Very skillful composition.
