Hi all!

I apologize for not having been so much present on TN during the last weeks. But the preparation of my exhibition that starts this friday takes me a lot of time...

But, as you can see, I sometimes find a couple of minutes or hours to have a rest and to have a walk out in the nature.

I took this picture near the city of Freiburg (Switzerland) at the border of the river Saane at the palce called Hauterive. There's a famous and very beautiful monastery there. The border of the river is a place I often go to because it's close to my home and very quiet and peaceful.

I was delighted by the intense colors of the leaves of the beeches, especially when they contrast with the (ever) green of the ivy. There's another contrast that fascinates me: the leaves of our trees never are so beautiful as when they are going to die...

Hi Markus,
another great autumn shot, is that grey in the background the sky? Looks quite moody! The green of the Ivy really does act as a nice contrast to the golden colour of the leaves.
These wonderful moments are everywhere around us, it's just having the skill to find them. Well seen my friend.

It looks interesting for me. I like contrast of autumn leaves color and green on the trunk.

the light and shadow is the biggest bonus towards this excellent compostiion with intense colouration of the leaves!

Great, I like a lot this colours. In my shots they never satisfy me, I find hard to capture them. I like the sunlight that pass throught the leaves.

Bonjour Markus,
Magnifique comme ces feuilles rousses captent la lumière et se détachent sur un arrière-plan de couleur idéale. Est-ce le ciel? Joli contraste de couleur avec le lierre, comme tu le mentionnes. Et bientôt toutes ses feuilles ne seront qu'un souvenir. C'est alors l'hiver qu'il faudra affronter.
