Excellent capture, superb composition and POV, I love the pose as he looks so cute, nice detail and great colours too. I do love cheeky little Sparrows, we take them for granted without realizing that the numbers have been in such sharp decline for years now.

I suppose you shot this in grey weather as the sparrow looks as if he is huddled up for a siesta! Beautiful composition and clear details even of the lichens!

Hello Paul,
This is a fine portrait of the Tree Sparrow that is not negatively affected by the use of flash. The lichen covered branches help in this respect and contribute to a nice presentation of the bird.

You are right, sparrows are common but beautiful. Very good details, pov and pose. Sparrows nest in my balcony every year.
