|SUNRISE IN DANUBE DELTA|
The mute swan (Cygnus olor) in the background.
The Danube Delta is the second largest delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta.
It is one of the best preserved deltas on the continent. Most of the Danube Delta can be found in Romania, but the northern part of the delta is in Ukraine.
In the Ukraine the delta is not preserved as well as it is in Romania.
Following an almost two-decade (1951–1970) research of the Danube Delta territory, 274 bird species were identified of which 176 were brooding (sedentary and migratory) and 98 non-brooding ones (winter, passage, erratic, and accidental birds).
The brooding birds include: 44 sedentary species and 132 migratory ones. The great number of migratory species is explained by the optimal conditions of nesting and especially of feeding the deltaic biotopes are providing in the warm season of the year.

Beautiful scenary! I like the way you controlled that morning bit harsh light. Nice POV and colors. I like the way you have used Mute Swan to make the composition stronger. Good sharpness and focus.
Thanks for sharing,
