Your dof here is perfect picking up all the glorious textures of the moss covered stream..the colours are perfect and you have taught us all a lesson that we dont need a super wide lense to achieve a large landscape scene.

I love the smooth water that you've blurred perfectly... as Sabine said: It's not easy to do!
I love the composition though I think if you flipped it horizontally... it may work better. I did a workshop to show this.
Nice lighting and colours aswell.

Bonjour Laurent,
The composition and eposure of this shot are superb. However the long exposure time has resulted in the usual 'steamy' effect on the water. This is not to my taste but others like the effect.
Here the natural effect of the water to create a damp mossy environment is well portrayed.

The 30 seconds has produced a nice smoothness through-out the "meandering" water course Laurent. Interesting photo with all the moss-covered logs about, good POV & comp too :)
PS - I think Joe's WS did help to focus more attention on the stream, with the 10% space rt cropped not really needed IMHO..

Oui, ce n'est pas seulement l'effet d'eau ici. En plus vous voyez que ce n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un grand angle pour atteindre des belles photos!

Bonjour Laurent, moi elle me parle et je lui réponds ! :-) Je l'aime bien moi ton paysage et même si l'effet d'eau n'est pas ce que t'attendais j'aime bien ton faux panorama. Pour sentir mieux l'effet d'eau il aurait peut-être fallu zoomé sur la partie de gauche du cours d'eau. Bon travail, merci !

ton essai n'est pas mal du tout et je sais en connaissance de cause que ce n'est pas facile sans grand angle!!!! toutefois ton image est de parfaite netteté aux couleurs naturelles et jolies.
continues, tu y arriveras et pourquoi ne pas commander un grand angle au père NONO?????

Hello Laurent,
you captured the flowing water well, I like the -may I say- blurred effect you created. All those tones of green and brown are working well together.
Your way of cropping is interesting, I should try this with some of my pictures that are still on my computer. Maybe the will become better so I can show them here.
