Hi Gaetan

I like the muted tones of this image and the nice sharp hairs on the leaf. It makes for an intersting composition and I don't thikn I woudl have the patience to set up a tripod to wait for this little guy.

I was distracted by the out of focus portion on the left of the photo so probably would have cropped this more to emphasise the fly(?) more. I also think a greater DOF would have given a much sharper shot of the fly itself which could have been easily done if you were using the tripod to slow the shutter speed down and increase the f-stop.

Hello Gaetan,
You better be sure I like this one.
Very often like in this image you do make a real art work of it with the shallow depth of field you did use.
Love the way only the eyes of the small hoverfly are in sharp focus and the surroundings are wonderfully soft.
Beautiful contrast and frame.

Bonjour Gaetan, beaucoup de fraicheur et de sensibilité dans ce cliché. La dominante couleur se marie bien avec l'insecte. Bonne composition si ce n'est que j'aurais préféré un léger décalage du Sphyre vers la droite. Bon weekend frais!!! Didier.

Hi Gaetan,
You really have a good eye for what is artistic. I do usually prefer more sharp focus on subject, but the blurring effects in this photo have some appeal. I think I agree with another who said he would crop a little more from left side. The colors are very pleasing.
