Hi laurent. It so nice to see the bright and colourful pictures on a dull night light this.You were able to take a first class close up of the butterfliy i have never seen so thanks for posting on TN. Taken with fine detail and sharp focusing . Well taken TFS.

Bonjour Laurent,
a very nice and sharp picture of apollo and the Knautia plant.
In particular, I like the natural colours.
It's a pity that the blade of grass is a bit disturbing.
Often, I realize the presence of disturbing elements the first time when I open them on the computer.

Hi Laurent

Let's break no bones about this one – it is super sharp shot with ultra delicate details and it has the most delightful colours. It is a pleasing and sensible composition and overall it is an ultra delightful experience for the eye.

There's unfortunately just one little snag that possibly rob this from being a perfect shot and that is the darn uninvited blade of grass. You don't have to explain though – I fully understand and have sympathy. I know all there is to know about grass blades, branches and twigs that show up where and when it shouldn't and thereby regularly ruin a shot which otherwise could have been a winner. In the game park especially, one is limited to the angle or location one can achieve while positioning your vehicle at the best possible vantage point. However, there is always a blade of grass or something else that comes in the way. At times I am flabbergasted and I just cannot fathom the mathematics and the odds at play for no matter how you move about it is uncanny how the different handicaps align to spoil the shot. That is why nature photography is so difficult. If it wasn't for this our hobby would not have been as interesting, because every one would have had perfect shots all the time. Imagine that – how boring it would have been.

je suis un peu jalous ... j'ai reussi à prendre seulement une photo de ce merveilleux papillon, pas belle comme celle-ci;
bellissima immagine di Apollo sul fiore di Scabiosa, la ripresa dal bassa rende ancor più onore a questa splendida farfalla che hai ripreso con ottima definizione e fantastici colori.
