| This was taken in Guatemala, in a hotel where i was staying at in Lake Atitlan. One of the owners has a herb garden and grows different plants and used in the food. But she doesn't know what this flower is called either! It's beautiful though! And the humming birds love them! |

Hi Natasha,
I am not 100% sure about this flower however it looks very much like clematis,a flower that blooms from vines. It would be easier to identify if it were open fully. You have good colour in this shot that has suffered from high iso generated noise.A tip since this a non moving subject is to use a tripod and your lowest iso setting and set the aperture to a more stopped down number like f/8 or 9 and use a longer exposure time and you will have a more clear and noise free photo.Thank you for sharing this photo of a plant that looks familiar to me. Bob
Hy Natasha
This is an Abutilon, from Malvaceae family. I can not say the specie...
