It was really sunny, and the sun shone quite strongly. I drove along the coastal road of Penang for sight seeing. The beach is wonderful but it hard to stop as the roadside was full of parking cars.
Until I reach Teluk Bahang, the beach was pretty quiet.
I walk to the beach as witness this lovely lone beach grown with a family of morning glory. It was already noon nd the flowers were still wide opened and fresh.
The purple flowes gave a wonderful foreground for me. How lovely, I wish I could swim but it was too hot for me.
To my surprise, I saw a couple of Europenan tourists in their swimming suits swam happily.

Teluk Bahang

A secret hideaway, enjoy a relaxing and leisurely time of your life

Teluk Bahang, known as "Bay of the Glowing Amber" is situated at the upper northern tip of our Penang .

It lies about 5 kilometers after Batu Feringghi, the prominent tourist’s belt of Penang. To some Teluk Bahang means the “Bay of The Glowing Amber“ probably refers to the warm climate due to the sea breeze coming in shore. Avid photographers must be responsible for its unique name as the sunset taken here by far the most perfect.

How striking is this seascape and how well did you capture it. The wide open spaces as far as one can see are just beautiful. The colours of the wildflowers appear so bright and with life. It is wonderful to look at, adding the blue sky with the clouds and rounding it off with mountains and the green-blue ocean. For sure a dream place to be. This is a wonderful coastal view of Penang, from where we have fond memories. I like your composition very much with the flowers in the foreground. A nice low POV, great DOF and beautiful colours. It is never too hot for a Swede to swim - we hate the cold!!

I love your pictorial shot with amazing subject and skill of execution. All pictured objects are sweet. The diagonal line of the beach is an asset to the composition. The flowers in the foreground lead my eyes toward the mountain which is giving depth to the photo. The afternoon light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
