[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Last September, I found this Peacock Pansy lounging on the stone floor of a corridor in my school.

Junonia almana, the peacock pansy, is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in South Asia. It exists in two distinct adult forms, which differ chiefly in the patterns on the underside of the wings; the dry-season form has few markings, while the wet-season form has additional eyespots and lines.

Beautiful species, Ram. Bright colours and interesting pattern.
Those spots looks like eyes.

Hello Sir,

You are lucky that you get such lovely specimen in your school itself. The colors are natural & the details have come out very nicely.

Thanks for sharing this lovely picture.

Warm Regards,

Hi Ram,
This is one of the most colorful Indian butterflies, and this photo, even with its minimalism, is a very spectacular presentation of this bright orange beauty. Fantastic colors and contrast, nice sharpness and camera angle, good usage of shadows. An absolute perfect capture, hats off for you!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
