Picture Wing(Female)

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Hello friends,
This picture wing always fascinates me in all respects. It is cloudy and windy here, so I made use of the oncamera flash. After few attempts this image turned out to be the best in my opinion. Head and body color attracted me when I focused on this. Wing details are not that clear like my previous post of this same species(male).
This Picturewing (Rhyothemis variegata) is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae, found in South Asia. They appear to have weak flight and can easily be mistaken for butterflies.
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Insecta
Order: Odonata
Suborder: Anisoptera
Family: Libellulidae
Genus: Rhyothemis
Species: R. variegata
Name: Common Picture Wing
Scientific Name: Rhyothemis variegate
Handheld shot, converted from RAW to JEPEG, adjusted curves, resized and cropped
