This juvenile night heron was learning to hunt with the adults nearby. Two younger ones were waiting up on a tree for feeding too.

This is a really good shot. Even though the Heros has similar colours as the background he comes out really clear.

Even better it looks like it's dark as well.. night time... making the type of heron fit the theme.
