From my bicycle travels in Tunisia:
The aggressive posture of the little lizard is sheer bravado, it's an Algerian Psammodromus, Psammodromus algirus(L.), Algerischer Sandläufer; Lacertidae. The place is Jebel Châmbi National Park. The species can be found on the Iberian Peninsula, in Southern France, Lampedusa and Northwest Africa and it is abundant in many places. There are other, similar Psammodromus species known in France and Iberia.

Hi Dietrich, very nice capture of this curious lizard, very interesting note about the species, you're a great expert as i can see. And the pic too is excellent, the view on the lizard isn't disturbed by the blurred dry branch on the left. Thanks a lot for your useful comment of my species from Georgia,in effect it's very difficult to have a correct identity because there are a lot and lot of similar in the family. Have a nice Sunday! Luciano.

Hello Dietrich,
Another fantastic shot of a lizard. I really like this POV as it crawls out of a crevice. Tac sharp focus and wonderful exposure despite the harsh lighting you had to deal with.
