I found this chap just outside our cabin at Mfuwe camp. Pretty friendly to take pictures off

This shows the extreme DOF using a full frame sensor and a macro lens on F2.8. With close up like this I like to get the blurred background. It makes it look like a studio shot. Not something taken outside :)

Slighty cropped the picture and increased sharpness and saturation in DPP

fantastic image... amazing DOF! I like it a lot... the eye and the face shows excellent sharpness and details! The foreground and background makes the frog's head pop out! it's almost 3D... thanks for sharing!

Very nice photo! Great colors, pov, backround and light effect. Only minus is the dof, I'd prefer a little bigger depth of focus, just for the details of the frog.

I like the way that how you control your DOF, using limited F2.8 just to concentrate the eye. Nice, sharp and clean.
