[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
As this young zebra slowly walked up to the impala it reminded me of two shy children meeting for the first time on the school playground.

At times the landscape in front of us was completely filled with wildlife, I'm surprised I was able to isolate these two for a shot.

Even though there were many kinds of animals together, it was rare to see any type of close interaction between two completely different species with each other.

Hello Ron,
What can I say about a fantastic image with such a superb clarity and outstanding focus? Incredible DOF and natural colors.
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece.....
Marius.

You have captured an excellent moment here, Ron.
Both animals are wary of each other.
A well composed sharp and crisp image.
The seared grass BG looks natural and supplements the subjects very well.

Ron, what a wonderful testimony of the immense ecological wealth that still manages to remain in Africa. Beautiful quality of image, and great creativity to give a theatrical value to your capture. Congratulations, friend.

Hi Ron,
The story speaks for itself, and you're extremely lucky that you were closed enough to freeze the moment to the eternity. Absolutely stunning photo, with perfect exposure - and it's so funny to see the real, natural moirée effect. :-) Huge congratulations for this masterpiece.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
