|African Spoonbill (Platalea alba)|
Recently, I've captured this 'African Spoonbill' at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning. Although I have posted this bird before in its flight mode, but it was my wish list to capture it while it is static. This bird was sitting behind a bush in the marshland and to get its clear picture, I stood in the water, hiding myself as much as I can because this bird is very nervous. It was a challenge to get proper exposure and details on its plumage due to its colour.
This species is widespread across South Africa 🇿🇦, Madagascar 🇲🇬, including Botswana 🇧🇼, Kenya 🇰🇪, Mozambique 🇲🇿, Namibia 🇳🇦 and Zimbabwe 🇿🇼.

The bird is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the African Spoonbill. The lightb is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
